City Park Drama Club Presents:

City Park Elementary Presents: Imagine a Dragon!

The dragon is back in town… or is it? Join us for Imagine a Dragon, a delightful and heartwarming musical adventure filled with humor, bravery, and an epic folk-rock score! In this charming tale, a ragtag group of innkeepers invents a dragon story to save their struggling inn — but when unexpected heroes, princesses, and townsfolk arrive ready to prove their courage, the truth may be harder to hide than they imagined. Along the way, everyone discovers there may be more than one way to save the day.

Our talented student performers have been working hard to bring this magical story to life, and you won’t want to miss it!

PAWSitive Panther Trait for April:  Courage

This month we are focusing on courage—doing the right thing even when it feels scary or difficult. Courage might look like trying something new, asking for help, telling the truth, or standing up for a friend. When adults recognize and encourage these moments, children build confidence and resilience.

Tips for Parents & Educators
• Praise small brave moments (trying, speaking up, asking for help).
• Share times when you had to be brave.
• Remind children that feeling nervous is normal—courage means trying anyway.

Here's a poem from one of our City Park 5th Graders that goes purrrfectly with our PAWSitive Panther Trait of Courage!
