Message from the Principal
Dear Westwood Families,
We hope your spring break provided your family with time to rest, reset, and enjoy moments together. As we return to school, we are excited to welcome our students back refreshed and ready for a strong final stretch of the school year.
The weeks ahead are an important time for learning, growth, and reflection. Our teachers have planned engaging instruction to re-establish routines, reinforce key skills, and continue moving students forward academically and socially. Consistency in attendance and routines at home will make a big difference as we help students finish the year strong.
As we transition back, we encourage students to:
Get back into consistent bedtime and morning routines
Stay organized with folders, homework, and take-home materials
Read daily for at least 15–20 minutes
Come to school ready to learn and try their best each day
We are also entering a season where testing and end-of-year assessments will take place. Please help your child by ensuring they are well-rested, arrive on time, and feel encouraged each morning.
Most importantly, we are grateful for your continued partnership.Thank you for trusting us with your children each day—it is truly an honor to serve this amazing community.
Let’s make this final stretch of the school year meaningful, productive, and filled with growth!
With Gratitude,
Alesa Smith
