Champion Successes, Shout Outs & Celebrations

Celebrating Dia de los Muertos!

Our 4th graders had a wonderful experience learning about and celebrating Día de los Muertos! They explored the traditions, art, and meaning behind this cultural celebration, connecting their learning to history and community.

 

Author Visit from Carmen Deedy!

Students were inspired during our author visit with Carmen Deedy! She captivated our young readers with her storytelling, humor, and passion for writing, reminding us all of the power of stories to connect and inspire.

 

Biblioburro!

Students were thrilled to meet Luis Soriano, the creator of Biblioburro! His visit brought to life the incredible story of bringing books to children in rural Colombia by donkey. His message about the power of reading and sharing knowledge left a lasting impression on our students.
