Message from the Principal

Dear Westwood Families,

Welcome to the first full week of October! We have so enjoyed celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month together, and it was wonderful seeing so many of you at our fun and highly successful Math Night last week. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students' learning.

As we look at the short week ahead, we have a few exciting events and important schedule changes:

Walk to School Wednesday: Join us this Wednesday morning at the Creative Arts Guild! We will gather there and walk to school together for our annual tradition.

Fall Break: Please remember that Fall Break begins this Thursday and runs through next Tuesday.

We hope you and your students enjoy a restful and well-deserved time together during the long weekend. Thank you for your continued partnership and for making this the best school year yet.

We look forward to a fantastic rest of October when we return!

With Gratitude,

Alesa Smith

Specials Students of the Month!

Congratulations to our September Specials Students of the Month! These outstanding students were selected for this award because they consistently demonstrated our REACH behaviors during their Specials classes. We are so proud of their hard work and the positive example they set for their peers.
