| Message from the Principal Dear Westwood Families,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend over the Labor Day holiday and enjoyed some quality time together. As we settle back into our routine, we are wrapping up our first round of Beacon and Amira testing, which helps us gather valuable insights to support your child’s individual learning journey. We are also continuing to focus on our REACH behavior expectations to help build a positive, supportive community across our school. Be sure to ask your student about REACH at the dinner table this week to hear what they’ve been practicing—they’d love to tell you all about it! Thank you as always for your support and partnership in making our school a fantastic place to grow.
Have a wonderful week! With Gratitude, Alesa Smith |

5th Grade Student Leaders! |
We are excited to announce the reveal of our new 5th grade student leaders! Throughout the school year, these students will serve on various leadership teams designed to build their leadership capacity, demonstrate our REACH character traits, and act as role models for our younger students. We are incredibly proud of each of these 5th graders for stepping up to guide and inspire our school community. |
